About us

Sharing food, friendship, and hope with local families

Need A Feed began with a simple idea: that no one in our community should go without food, care, or connection. What started as a small act of kindness has grown into a local charity dedicated to empowering families through practical food relief and genuine support.

From emergency food gifts to shared breakfasts, we provide more than meals, we create spaces for hope, friendship and dignity. With the help of volunteers, donors and partners, we’re building a stronger, more connected Illawarra where everyone feels they belong.

Our Mission

To combat food insecurity and foster community by supporting those facing hardships.
